Franny is a teacher and Kevin is headed to medical school – talk about a power couple. There’s something extra special about seeing two people who spend their time caring about other people find the person who wants to commit to caring for them for the rest of their lives. After all, who doesn’t want to know that at the end of a long day you can come home to a big hug and a listening ear?

The Rigmor House in Chapel Hill provided the perfect backdrop for their simple, elegant celebration filled with personal touches from friends, family, and the couple themselves. I mean – their friend wrote a song just for the two of them and played it (along with the ukelele) during the ceremony, Kevin and Franny wrote shared vows that they read together from a handmade notebook, the bridesmaids made their own bouquets that morning, and their first dance was the perfect combination of jumping, twirling, and slow dancing.   Best of luck in Boston ya’ll – I know your combined light will only strengthen your love story and the effect your love has on those around you.
