I knew Elly and Lake’s wedding was going to be special as soon as the three of us chatted about what was important to them! Then we spent an afternoon at the NC Museum of Art for their engagement session and all my suspicions were confirmed. These two truly have something special and it was so lovely getting to be a part of their wedding. Elly and Lake truly have such a genuine love for one another and for the Lord and the details of their day were a clear reflection of their desire for their marriage to mean as much as their wedding did. I think one of the coolest details was that Elly’s mom handled all the gorgeous bouquets and the background for the ceremony – how awesome is that! Not only were the details super pretty, but Elly and Lake chose to spend a moment in worship as the entire guest list sang together, Elly’s father performed their ceremony, and they shared in communion before sealing the deal and heading on to dance the night away! I keep trying to pick a favorite part from their wedding but I just keep scrolling through the images and smiling from start to finish. Cheers to Elly and Lake!
